Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Michigan
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with school-aged children (early childhood through high school) strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across various grade levels
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services, both individually and in group settings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date session notes, progress reports, and necessary documentation
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student progress and success
- Participate actively in IEP and team meetings to advocate for students needs
