Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication skills using standardized assessments and observations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain comprehensive records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with school and state documentation requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer guidance and training to teachers and families to support carryover of skills
