Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment supporting pre-kindergarten students. This travel-based position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver impactful care to young learners while gaining valuable experience in a pediatric school setting.
Location: Flanders, NJ (Travel assignment)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions for a caseload of approximately 13 preK students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students with communication disorders, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, particularly with autism, is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel.
