Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication development in a dynamic school-based environment near Flanders, NJ. This position is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials and a passion for working with pediatric and school-aged populations. Youll be providing comprehensive services in a traditional school caseload, covering a maternity leave from late August through the end of November, with 35-40 hours per week.
What youll bring:
- Active SLP-CCC credentials; New Jersey state licensure required
- Demonstrated experience as an SLP in pediatric or educational settings
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Flexible, organized approach to managing caseload and documentation
- Ability to adapt to school-based schedules and service delivery models
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct therapy to K-12 students, addressing speech, language, and communication goals
- Conducting assessments, writing reports, and contributing to IEP meetings
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families for optimal student outcomes
- Completing all necessary documentation efficiently and accurately within district systems
- Adapting to possible itinerant assignments as caseload needs evolve
