Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with students across K-12 grades. This assignment is based near Fitchburg, MA, with one opening available in Winchendon. The position is full-time, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 12, 2026, with an option to continue into the 2026/2027 school year.
Ideal candidates will have current expertise supporting students in educational settings, whether you are completing your Clinical Fellowship (CFY) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Youll join a dedicated team, providing vital services that help students excel in and beyond the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license and Educator Certification required
- Experience in school settings preferred, with confidence working across K-12 populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services for diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students
- Create individualized intervention plans tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records, complete documentation, and contribute to IEP team meetings
- Offer support and training for school personnel regarding speech and language issues
