Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Maryland
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience in Maryland school settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy to a K-12 caseload, with a focus on spot fill needs across various schools
  • Serve high school students in a self-contained, moderate-to-severe environment
  • Deliver itinerant speech therapy services at multiple school locations within the district
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations, and district guidelines for school-based SLP services
