Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but strong CFY candidates will also be considered
  • Experience working with school-aged children is highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student populations
  • Skilled in conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to students individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop effective support strategies
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive, supportive learning environment for all students
