Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic K-12 school setting near Federal Way, WA, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This engaging, onsite-only contract spans from September 1, 2026, through June 23, 2027, at 37.5 hours per week, providing you with the opportunity to empower students voices and communication skills within a welcoming, supportive environment.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligibility to obtain Washington SLP licensure
  • Active or willingness to obtain Washington ESA certification
  • Completion of fingerprinting process with OSPI, or readiness to fulfill this requirement
  • SLP-CCC certification required and experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Familiarity with K-12 student populations and the unique needs of school-based caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services onsite to a diverse K-12 student body
  • Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to ensure each students success
  • Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and federal standards
