Make a difference in students lives as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting K-12 learners in a contract role for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity allows you to collaborate directly with educators and students, helping every child reach their communication goals in an engaging school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active North Carolina SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage varied K-12 caseloads
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to onsite servicesremote/VOCO not permitted
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Maintain thorough records of assessments, treatments, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews as needed
