Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time assignment begins August 13, 2025, and continues through May 27, 2027, offering a dynamic and meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the school community. The position is exclusively onsite, requiring your hands-on expertise in person throughout the assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license (out-of-state candidates considered if you can secure NC licensure by June or July)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting, across diverse ages and caseloads
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to serving onsite; virtual service delivery is not offered for this role
- Open to travel professionals willing to relocate for the duration of the contract
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students from elementary through high school
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student success and academic growth
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary team discussions
