A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an elementary school setting, serving grades K-5. This in-person role, located in Farmington, MI, offers a full-time contract through the remainder of the school year, with a 37.5-hour work week. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Monitor and document student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged children (K-5) within the school environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary school students, particularly grades K-5
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
