Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or actively pursuing Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings, is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to create and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement customized therapy interventions based on student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and support staff
  • Monitor student progress, update goals, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Provide direct and consultative services, using both one-on-one and group therapy models
  • Educate families and staff in techniques to support students communication development
