Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing exceptional speech-language services in a vibrant school setting. This contract opportunity runs from August 17th, 2026, through June 12th, 2027, within the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas. This position is geared for professionals who are ready to support school-aged learners in achieving their communication goals.

Desired qualifications:

  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to working onsite throughout the contract duration

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized speech-language therapy services to students with varying needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and report on student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and support implementation of IEPs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth

This full-time role offers a steady and predictable schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Youll have the opportunity to work within supportive school communities dedicated to student success. Only onsite candidates and CFYs are considered at this time.
