Key Qualifications:

• Active New York SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Collaborative approach and enthusiasm for fostering student success

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary through high school students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailor interventions to each students needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support students educational goals
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Provide guidance and training to school staff and parents on best practices in speech and language development
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support
