Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license or eligibility in the state of Oregon
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows may be considered
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning environments and student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with teachers and other staff
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention services, both individually and in groups
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs, progress reports, and related records
  • Attend meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams to discuss progress and recommendations
  • Support and educate teachers and school staff on communication strategies in the classroom
  • Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development
