A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Fairview, OR, serving elementary and high school-aged students. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within an educational setting, providing crucial speech and language support to help students achieve their communication goals across diverse developmental stages.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify students needs
- Developing individualized therapy plans tailored to elementary and high school students
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy services in classroom and small group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student performance
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student intervention strategies
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in elementary and secondary education settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
