Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates may be considered
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly desired
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify students speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and families to support integrated educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences as a valued team member
  • Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and modifications to support student progress
