Job Description

This role spans from August 17, 2026, through June 12, 2027, offering the chance to build meaningful relationships and foster communication growth for students in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas. With a consistent 35-hour work week and a 7-hour daily schedule, youll be able to deeply invest in your students success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a current Virginia SLP license (CCC or eligible CFY candidates encouraged)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children in educational settings
  • Skilled in evaluation, diagnosis, and development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Must be able to work in-person (onsite, not remote)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Design and implement therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school and state guidelines
  • Provide regular progress updates and consultation to teachers and families
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings supporting student achievement
