Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active South Carolina SLP license and SC Teaching Certification required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare protocols and best practices for SLPs
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to diverse caseloads ranging from early childhood to high school
  • Conduct evaluations, create IEPs, and implement evidence-based treatment plans
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and federal guidelines
  • Adapt therapy sessions to individual student needs to foster growth and confidence
