Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience with pediatric populations from early childhood through high school
- Familiarity with school-based settings and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Provide targeted therapy to individuals and small groups, adapting activities for varied ages and abilities
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families on student progress and IEP goals
- Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services in inclusive classrooms and specialized learning environments
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families for continued language support
