Make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language services to students in a supportive and collaborative educational environment. This school-based contract position is available for the upcoming school year and offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students. With flexibility to serve learners from preK through 12th grade, assignments will be thoughtfully matched to your professional strengths and preferences.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid WA SLP license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Eligible for SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Duties:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, supporting their academic and social success
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Engage in collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families to foster inclusive and effective communication strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
