Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, serving students from early childhood through middle school. Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and in school settings is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs through formal and informal assessments
  • Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders
  • Deliver therapy sessions for students across early-childhood to middle school grade levels
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers to support students academic and communication goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as needed
