Job Description

Step into an impactful position supporting diverse learners as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist for a vibrant group of schools serving cities stretching from Chicago to North Chicago. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity spans from July 20, 2026, to June 11, 2027, providing services across PreK-8 settings. The ideal candidate thrives in multicultural environments and is committed to helping students develop vital communication skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP licensure for the state of Illinois and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
  • Prior experience in K-8 or preschool educational settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech and language assessment and intervention practices for school-aged children
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in PreK-8
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative support in both English and Spanish
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school climate
