Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders
  • Several years of relevant experience preferred
  • Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or State of Oregon SLP License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Preferred experience with augmentative communication systems and students with moderate/severe disabilities
  • Valid Oregon Drivers License (First Aid/CPR may be required)
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills; strong sense of confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students with a range of abilities and needs
  • Collaborate with special education professionals and allied support staff
  • Utilize both high and low tech augmentative communication tools
  • Engage parents, educators, and students in ongoing support and education
  • Document progress and maintain student confidentiality
