A new contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students. This assignment is based in Oakridge and will cover multiple school buildings within the district for the 2026/2027 school year. Youll join a supportive educational environment known for its manageable caseload and students with low behavioral needs. The position calls for a committed, in-person SLP to provide crucial speech and language services that foster student growth and academic success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active SLP licensure (must meet all requirements to practice as an SLP)
- Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience providing speech-language services in school settings
- Ability to work effectively across K-12 student populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Preference for candidates able to provide references prior to interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, therapy, and support to students across multiple buildings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor progress and adapt therapy to student needs
- Maintain documentation and communication with school staff and guardians
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute expertise in speech-language development
