Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Background or keen interest in school-based Speech Language Pathology; applicants without prior schools experience will be considered if motivated to learn and grow in an educational setting
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare-related interventions for children
• Commitment to fostering communication skills, social development, and academic achievement for students
• Strong passion for serving K12 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language services, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, to a diverse student population
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Support students through both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance best practices in school-based SLP services
