Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for clinicians passionate about working with the pediatric population, from kindergarten to 12th grade, within a flexible and collaborative environment. Both experienced SLPs and enthusiastic Clinical Fellows are welcome to bring their expertise or curiosity to this rewarding setting.
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Background or keen interest in school-based Speech Language Pathology; applicants without prior schools experience will be considered if motivated to learn and grow in an educational setting
- Experience or interest in pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare-related interventions for children
- Commitment to fostering communication skills, social development, and academic achievement for students
- Strong passion for serving K12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, to a diverse student population
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students through both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance best practices in school-based SLP services
