Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the school environment as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) for the 2026-2027 academic year in the Baltimore area. This contract opportunity allows you to work directly with students and collaborate closely with educational staff on-site, enhancing communication skills and supporting student success. The position begins September 2, 2026, and extends through June 17, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek throughout the school term.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active Maryland professional licensure (images of licenses will be required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a K-12 educational setting, with school-based SLP background strongly preferred
- Completion of district background check, fingerprinting process, and employment history review to meet HB 486 requirements
- Commitment to best practices in assessment, intervention, and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students (age group and caseload details to be determined)
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individual education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with school teams
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school district and state policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate professionally with educators and parents
