This contract role offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric caseload, from early childhood through high school, helping students develop the vital communication skills they need for academic and social success.
Desired Background & Skills:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings preferred
- Comfortable working across a range of age groups (Pre-K through Grade 12)
- Understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborative team practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Dedication to fostering student growth in both individual and group settings
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Documenting services and maintaining accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Providing consultative support and resources to staff and parents regarding students speech-language needs
