Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is strongly desired
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of students speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, and assist with goal development and progress reporting
  • Incorporate evidence-based practices and stay current with developments in the field
