Job Description

Make an impact helping students thrive in a school-based setting as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract position is full time, with 3537.5 hours per week, and offers you the opportunity to work with K12 students across multiple campuses within the community. As an itinerant SLP, youll enjoy a varied workweek and the chance to collaborate with educators and support staff while making a real difference for children of all ages.

Qualifications:

  • Current California SLP License or CTC required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Proven experience delivering SLP services within a school environment
  • Strong background in pediatric speech and language therapy
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads across K12 age groups
  • Willingness to travel between school locations as assigned
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to equity, collaboration, and fostering student potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop goals tailored to each students needs
  • Provide support and strategies to staff and families to generalize therapy gains
  • Balance itinerant responsibilities and adapt to multiple school environments
