This full-time, contract position supports elementary students for the remainder of the current school year. Ideal background and experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- Recent experience providing SLP services within a school-based setting, especially at the elementary level
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to create engaging, individualized therapy plans and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to elementary students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and track progress for students with speech and language challenges
- Provide clear documentation and maintain detailed records according to school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development activities as needed
