Job Description

This opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a maternity leave position from October to mid-December in a K-12 school setting. The assignment involves working onsite at three middle schools located in Escondido, CA. This contract role offers a focused caseload in a middle school environment, providing speech-language services to support student communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and related services to middle school students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with school staff and families

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology licensure is required
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
  • Ability to work onsite providing direct services in a middle school setting
