What were looking for:
- Active Michigan SLP license (required for onsite positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with K-12 populations, preferably in school settings
- Comfortable delivering therapy onsite and/or via teletherapy platforms
- Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Dedication to culturally responsive, evidence-based practice
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing speech, language, voice, and fluency needs of K-12 students
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Conducting group and individual therapy sessions
- Maintaining thorough documentation and contributing to IEP meetings
- Consulting with teachers and families to support student outcomes
- Engaging in ongoing professional development
