Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech Language Pathologist in-person across Perry, Dauphin, and Cumberland Counties, with a special focus on the Shippensburg, Carlisle, and Harrisburg areas. You'll deliver essential early intervention services for children ages 3-5, building communication skills that set the stage for lifelong learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Pennsylvania SLP Certification is required
  • Strong background in school-based SLP services
  • Experience or interest in early childhood intervention (ages 3-5) preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative spirit and adaptability to work within diverse school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to preschool children in classroom and individual settings
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support
  • Monitor and document student progress, making data-informed recommendations as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to guide student success
  • Offer guidance and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
