Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY) are also welcome
  • Previous experience or interest working with pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing evidence-based interventions

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Document progress, maintain records, and prepare required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development programs
  • Offer consultative support to staff and families on strategies for fostering language development
