This contract opportunity is available now for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologistopen to both part-time and full-time schedules through the end of the school year. As an itinerant speech-language pathologist, you will support multiple schools within the area, enhancing communication, collaboration, and inclusion for your students.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual Spanish fluency required
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure required prior to start
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel between school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to support student progress
- Document and report student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
- Promote language and communication development for diverse student populations
