Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for supporting students in a dynamic school-based setting! This contract opportunity is available on either a part-time or full-time basis through the end of the school year. The position focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services across multiple school sites in the Englewood, CO area.
Your expertise as a bilingual Spanish communicator will be essential as you collaborate with students, staff, and families in an onsite, itinerant role. Youll need to have an active CDE license prior to starting. Those with previous experience in school settings are highly preferred, but dedicated Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply as well.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC credential (preferred), or eligible Clinical Fellow
- Active CDE license required before start date
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a must
- Prior school-based experience is advantageous
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
- Exceptional communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to K-12 students
- Maintain accurate paperwork and progress documentation in line with district and legal requirements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
- Serve a diverse caseload, using evidence-based practices
