Step into a dynamic, rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This on-site position involves engaging with diverse student populations across campuses in the Denver area, offering a fantastic caseload of approximately 2545 students. Your skills will be valued as you begin this contract starting August 6, 2026, and continuing through May 26, 2027, working Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The district encourages professional development, allowing you to attend and contribute to growth activities during the school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certificate and Colorado SLP License
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but not requiredopen to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (supervision provided)
- Successful passing of district background check and fingerprinting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and parents
- Comfortable working on-site (no virtual options); SLPAs are not eligible
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and document results
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for IEP development and progress monitoring
- Maintain timely documentation and fulfill reporting requirements
- Participate in applicable professional development opportunities
Individuals with 0-2 years of experience will receive a pay range of $49$52 per hour, those with 3-5 years $52$55, 6-9 years $55$58, and 10+ years $58$61, recognizing and rewarding your experience and dedication.
