This full-time contract opportunity is suited for dedicated professionals eager to empower learners through communication support during the 2026-2027 school year (exact dates to be confirmed). Two to three positions are available, with caseload specifics shared prior to assignment. Primarily onsite roles are open, with consideration for virtual placements as the start date approaches.

What Were Looking For:

• Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) for New York State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience in school-based SLP services is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary education team
• Tech-savvy candidates encouraged for potential future virtual assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy for assigned student caseload
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and reports as per state and district requirements
• Attend IEP meetings and provide expert guidance relating to student support plans
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities offered by the district
