Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid New York SLP license and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to adapt speech/language interventions to various student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work onsite, with openness to virtual work as determined closer to the contract start

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and progress monitor student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights
• Flexibly manage a caseload as assigned; adapt to caseload and program changes as needed
