Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in California (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with diverse teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students with speech, language, or communication needs
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans using evidence-based practices
- Provide direct intervention one-on-one or in group settings, adapting strategies to individual student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Document student progress and participate in the development and review of IEPs
- Offer consultation and training to staff and families as needed
- Maintain compliance with school and state requirements for documentation and service delivery
