Job Description

A well-established and supportive school district near Encinitas, CA is searching for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact on K-12 students across two sites, with ample support along the way.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License (CA SLP License)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior schools experience is highly valued, but enthusiastic clinicians with a clear passion for working in a school-based role are encouraged to apply
  • Interest in serving the pediatric population and supporting students communication development
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
  • Adapt and deliver therapy sessions in-person or via teletherapy as appropriate
  • Serve students at two locations, ensuring continuity of care and support

Enjoy a work schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, allowing for consistency and work-life balance.
