Job Description

Make a positive difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist with opportunities across a collaborative educational cooperative in the Emporia, KS region. Travel to a variety of friendly school settings, fostering communication skills and supporting diverse learners. Youll work closely with dedicated educational teams and serve students ranging from 1012 per day up to 5055 across a five-day week, depending on your schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas SLP license required.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • School-based SLP experience beneficial, but open to candidates eager to support children in educational environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working onsite in any of the cooperative's school locations within an hour of Emporia.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to foster student success.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including IEP goals and progress notes.
  • Provide consultation and support for educational staff regarding speech and language development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional growth and training as appropriate.
