Ideal candidates are compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists who hold both an active NY SLP license and TSSLD certification, and thrive in school-based environments. Credentials and Skills Sought:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid New York State SLP license along with TSSLD certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with PreK or elementary population preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with school teams, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Must be comfortable working onsite exclusively
What Youll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in the Hornell and Bath areas
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Maintain thorough and timely student records and progress reports
- Consult with teachers and other professionals regarding student progress and strategies for success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
