Step into an opportunity to impact students across multiple school sites in the Ellicott City, MD area by providing critical speech-language pathology services. This contract role spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 10th and finishing June 9th, with a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will support a diverse population of learners as you work directly onsite within a supportive school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Maryland SLP License (MD SLP)
- CCC-SLP certification or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work onsite at multiple locations (please be prepared to provide your ZIP code for placement consideration)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, per IEP requirements
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
- Document progress and provide ongoing reports for IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to foster an inclusive and communicative school environment
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
