Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students across diverse age groups, including Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students unique needs
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to maximize student progress
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Document student progress, maintain case records, and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students, parents, and school staff
