A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide services for K-12 students in Elk Grove, CA. This contract position spans the current and next school year, offering the opportunity to work onsite supporting diverse caseloads across two schools typically assigned per therapist. This role is ideal for an SLP with a passion for helping students improve their communication skills in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students based on individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology License and appropriate credential (CTC) required
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
