Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Elk Grove, CA, serving school environments on a contract basis through the current and upcoming school year. This onsite position involves working with typically two schools per SLP, managing varied caseloads tailored to student needs.

Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and delivering speech and language therapy services to students to enhance communication skills and support academic achievement. The role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license and California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
