Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Elk Grove, CA, serving a K-12 school environment from December 1, 2025, through June 12, 2026. This contract position offers a chance to support a diverse caseload while providing essential speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized therapy to approximately 50-65 students, managing progress monitoring, and working to bring services up to date in collaboration with the educational team. The role demands strong organizational skills to address a backlog of service documentation and progress monitoring requirements effectively.

Key qualifications for this position are:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
  • Valid Educator Certification for California schools
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings, preferably with caseloads similar in size and complexity
  • Ability to deliver progress monitoring and service documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

The position is ideal for an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience who is ready to take on a backfill assignment requiring immediate integration into the school community.
