Exciting school-based opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in the upcoming 2026 fall semester. Contract assignments are available at elementary campuses serving K-5th grade, with an emphasis on autism and preschool populations. These roles offer a dynamic environment where SLP professionals can have a meaningful impact during maternity leave coverage.
Three full-time positions start in September and run for 12 weeks, covering over 35 hours per week. Assignments are strictly onsite, with SLPs prioritized who hold their CCCs; however, clinical fellows may also be considered if they are able to provide their own outside supervision. SLPs will work with engaged teams at welcoming elementary schools, collaborating with staff to deliver individualized, evidence-based therapy for diverse student needs.
Primary Duties:
- Conduct speech-language assessments, IEP development, and therapy sessions for students (K-5)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff on intervention plans
- Implement strategies for success with students on the autism spectrum and preschool populations
- Document progress and participate in team meetings
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current NJ SLP License
- Valid NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certification
- CCCs preferred; CFs must arrange independent supervision
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with autism and early learners, strongly desired
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
