Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a supportive educational environment this fall. This 12-week contract opportunity offers the chance to impact young learners in both elementary and preschool settings, focusing particularly on students within the Autism population.

Available are three full-time roles at the elementary level, each offering 35+ hours per week. Two positions are situated within friendly, inclusive schools and serve children from preschool through fifth gradeideal for clinicians with a passion for early intervention and collaborative, school-based practice. One additional position is also available, with placement details to be determined.

Your skills are needed onsite, helping students develop their communication abilities and equipping them for academic and personal success. Clinical Fellows are welcome if you can arrange external supervision, while professionals with CCCs will be given priority. Please note, SLPAs are not considered for this assignment.

What were looking for:

  • Current NJ SLP License and valid NJ SLS Certification (required)
  • Experience working with elementary and/or preschool populations
  • Familiarity with Autism and early language development preferred
  • Ability to work on-site and commit to the 12-week, full-time schedule
  • CCCs strongly preferred; CFs considered with outside supervision
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Deliver therapy sessions to a diverse caseload including a high Autism population
