A contract opportunity is available for full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) starting Fall 2026 in Elizabeth, NJ, serving local school districts. This 12-week position begins in September and offers 35+ hours per week for dedicated professionals ready to make an impact in school-based therapy.
Positions include:
- Two elementary school roles (K-5) supporting students with a high Autism population and preschool age children, located in Sewaren and Iselin, NJ
- One additional school-based SLP position to be determined within the district
Qualified candidates are Speech-Language Pathologists holding a valid New Jersey SLP license and NJ SLS certification. Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred; new clinicians with outside supervision are accepted as the district cannot provide supervision. Please note, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for these roles.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students, including those with autism spectrum disorders
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver onsite therapy services within the schools
